Job Title: Multiple Power Plant Operations & Maintenance Positions – Iraq Garraf Oilfield Project (Part 2)
 Location: Garraf, Iraq
🌟 Overview
Hiring experienced engineers, operators, and technicians to join our O&M team for the Garraf Oilfield Power Plant Project in Iraq. These roles cover instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and operational specialties.
 
📋 Available Positions & Responsibilities:
1-I&C Engineer (DCS/Machinery Control)
Maintain and troubleshoot control systems, field instruments, and PLCs.
Develop SOPs, manage calibration, and support system integrations.
 
2-HV Competent
Oversee safe operation and maintenance of HV systems (up to 33kV).
Perform testing, protection coordination, and arc flash safety procedures.
Manage GIS switchgear and compliance with IEEE/IEC standards.
 
3-Electrical Engineer
Lead electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive schedules.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and manage inventory.
 
4-Control Room Panel Man
Monitor plant parameters, issue instructions to field operators, and maintain logs.
Ensure clean and safe control room operations and detailed shift handover.
 
5-Field Operator / Gas Turbine Operator
Conduct routine inspections, operate HV/LV systems and MCCs, and support emergencies.
Report to control room engineers and maintain field equipment cleanliness.
 
6-Mechanical/Rotating Technician
Support mechanical maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting.
Manage tools, spares, and assist in emergency drills.
 
7-Instrument Technician
Maintain field devices, control systems, and instrumentation loops.
Troubleshoot Mark VIe systems and support calibration activities.
 
✅ Qualifications & Certifications
Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, I&C, or related field.
5–10 years of experience in O&M within power generation or oil & gas.
Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
 
Role-specific certifications:
HV roles → 5+ years HV experience with GIS systems.
Operators/Technicians → Prior experience in gas turbine power plants.
