Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS) is a joint venture created in 2014 with a registered capital of 58,610,000,000 Algerian dinars. The company has started the construction of a steel complex in the industrial area of Bellara (Wilaya de Jijel), for the production and distribution of machine wire and concrete reinforcing bar. AQS intends to expand it to cover other regions.
