HSE Officer

Electrical Technician

•  Calibrate, Testing and troubleshooting of all types of field instruments as per International/Manufacturer standards.
• Calibration of transmitters and gauges.
• Replacement of switches, solenoids, manifolds, trouble shooting,
• Performing control valve diagnostics and adjustments.
• Maintain engineering area is safe, kept clean and in an orderly manner. Keep close coordination with other engineering staff for smooth operation.
• The applicant must be capable of working independently within all health and safety guidelines.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:-

• Minimum Technical, Trade or Vocational Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in the relevant maintenance techniques of instrumentation systems used in oil and gas industry or power plants.
• Multi-Skilled Technician will be highly preferred.
• Ability to Read and follow blueprints / schematics
• Good understanding of International & Local Code
• Demonstrated knowledge of Tools and Instrumentation.
• Understanding of maintenance inventory and requisition of parts and supplies as needed.
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible approach and ability to generate a team approach to problem solving.

 

Working Conditions:-

This position is considered Power Plants which is characterized as follows.

• Almost exclusively indoors/outdoors during the day and occasionally at night
• Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place
• Work surface may be unstable, work positioning and work restraint required using Rope Access.
